Chapter 1
Greed, Selfishness

The Problem
Greed or selfishness are sometimes not recognizable to the
person themselves, but evident to others.  People who tend
to be this way are hard to be in relationship with, because
there is little mutuality in their relationships.

In our culture there is a belief that we "choose" to act in
certain ways.  Based upon that belief, we can then "choose"
to act differently.

There is another belief that is just as fault:  the belief that
greed or selfishness is an unchangeable part of a person's
character.

In truth, when a person is consistently, or frequently, greedy
or selfish, they are compelled to this behavior by a wound
deep inside them.  It is beyond the reach of their will power,
so they can not change their behavior by simply deciding to
do so.

However, this wound
can be changed by another avenue.
Then the behavior
will change.  This other avenue is by
applying the blood of Jesus to the wound, and having him
heal it.

For this transformation to occur, one needs to understand
the process.  They need
detailed instructions as to how to
accomplish this.

My book, "I Will Give You Rest" is a manual that leads a
person through understanding their wound, how it got there,
and how to have Jesus heal it.

Recommended Sequence
I would recommend that you start with Chapters 2, which will
teach you about the wound, why it is so powerful, and why
your will power can't change the behavior.

Then go on through the chapters in sequence.  Skip the
Endnotes at this time, because they provide more detail than
you need at this point.

Chapter 2 by clicking here,

You are free to spend as much time as you like on
