The idea for a simplified version of Ed Kurath’s original book, I
Will Give You Rest, was born out of a small group of women
who met weekly in my home. The four of us met on Thursday
mornings and our very first study was Ed’s book. As I was
working my way through the book, I couldn’t help but think
about my teen aged daughters. I wanted them to learn what I
was learning. But, I recognized the book was quite
comprehensive, so I decided to extract some of the basic
information to share with my daughters. Their immediate
positive response let me know I was on to something. I was
convinced the book needed to be offered in a more condensed
format.
I Will Give You Rest-Devotional Version takes Ed’s principles
and instructions and delivers them in a way that is simple and
easy to understand. It is a twenty-one day study and includes
questions for reflection at the end of each daily reading.
While editing and condensing I Will Give You Rest, it was my
privilege to get to know Ed and Kay Kurath. They are such a
warm and loving couple, whose desire is to see people healed
and to experience the peace and freedom that God has made
available to His children.

Being changed into the image of Jesus
A miracle can happen to you, like the transformation that
happens when a worm is transformed into a butterfly
(2 Corinthians 3:18).
